B. Kay Klein

Kay Klein has been associated with Mr. Fitzgibbons for over twenty years and is currently Of Counsel to the Law Offices of John M. Fitzgibbons. After graduating from Emory University School of Law, Ms. Klein was an Assistant State Attorney in the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s office in Tampa, after which she began working with Mr. Fitzgibbons exclusively on criminal defense matters.

Ms. Klein handles federal and state criminal appeals and also works closely with Mr. Fitzgibbons on many cases and trials. In 1999, Ms. Klein managed the updating and revision of the Capital Punishment Handbook of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, a 750-page reference manual on death penalty procedural and substantive law.

Ms. Klein’s professionalism, her excellent research and writing skills, and her wealth of knowledge and experience in criminal law provide clients with the assurance of an attorney who cares and who diligently fights for the best possible result in every case.
